Companion care that eases loneliness

Kind conversation or a shared laugh to ease isolation and lift spirits. Across the Greater Phoenix area.

Companion care is friendship and practical help for someone who is mostly independent but should not spend all day alone: conversation, activities, light meals, errands and a caring presence. Aging Well Care provides companion care across Greater Phoenix.

Loneliness wears on health as much as any diagnosis. A regular companion gives your loved one someone to talk to, something to look forward to, and a set of eyes that notices when something changes.

What companion care includes

  • Conversation, games, hobbies and shared interests
  • Light meal preparation and company at meals
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Going along to appointments and outings
  • Light housekeeping
  • Reminders that help the day stay on track

Who it helps

  • Seniors who live alone
  • People who have lost a spouse or are more isolated than before
  • Anyone safe on their own who would do better with company

Where we provide companion care

Our companions visit seniors in Anthem, Cave Creek, Carefree and New River, across North Phoenix and Scottsdale, and in the retirement communities of Sun City, Sun City West, Peoria and Surprise, where a regular friendly face matters most. We are based in Anthem and serve all of Phoenix Metro. See every area we serve.

How it starts

Call (480) 582-9898 or book a free consultation. We come to you, listen and build a plan together, then match a background-checked, drug-tested caregiver your loved one will be glad to see. The plan is guided by a Registered Nurse and adjusted as needs change. No contract required, cancel any time, and no hourly minimum. From the first visit, you are family.

Questions families ask

What is the difference between personal care and companion care?

Personal care includes hands-on help with bathing, dressing and mobility. Companion care focuses on friendship, conversation and help around the home for someone who is safe alone but should not be alone all day. Many families combine the two.

Can companion care be just a few hours a week?

Yes. Many families start with a few visits a week and add time if it helps.

Can a companion come along to appointments?

Yes. A companion can go with your loved one to appointments and outings and keep the family posted.
